Interesting. Michigan, albeit less money, would be a better gig. He will nedd a new DC. Send him Coz's resume.

LOL

My LSU friends are peaved, they were hoping for a general house cleaning and get some people in place that really want to be in Baton Rouge.

Denying the rumor. He has signed an extension.

Wonder if the info they have on Pelini is correct.

Only time will tell.

Listening to the comments about this on TV, they are saying Michigan blew it by asking for permission last week to talk to Miles.

Seems they think that painted Miles into a corner.

P.S. They are saying the Pelini story rings true and will be announced Monday.

I thought the talk was that Michigan was Miles' dream job; I think if that is the case, then he must really like LSU (or michigan doesn't like him). But if he just wants to get an NC soon so he can move "up" to the NFL, then that is a different story. That might also mean that Bo will feel more attracted to the job here (if it has, indeed, been offered).

As I understand it he was going to have to take a major pay cut. Preasure from the fans, and alumni were going to be a problem that he does not face at LSU. He has a good team that a lot come back next year. With a better DC he might win it all next year. Mark my words, if Pelini is not hired by Nebraska he will not be at LSU next year.

According to ESPN, the story got legs before it should have and that's why Miles backed out, either that or the money wasn't there. Boy they know how to cover the bases don't they?
