MLB draft 2009

The following UNL players were drafted:

Michael Nesseth by the Angels in the 15th

Jeff Tesak by the White Sox in the 24th

Adam Bailey by the Yankees in the 38th

I'm thinking Bailey might be back.

In other local teams,

UNO had two players drafted:

Evan Potter by the Phillies in the 23rd

Chris Kessinger by the Mariners in the 37th

Bellevue U had two players taken:

Justin Long by the Phillies in the 24th

Steven Junker by the Rockies in the 32nd

and sucky Creighton even had one player taken:

Darin Ruf by the Phillies in the 20th

The state of Nebraska had no players taken out of high school this year.

I hope Bailey comes back next year. Three players isn't bad though.

Bailey already said he's coming back. Also talked with nesseth n said he was coming back n if mike came back they'd take NU back to where they belong... I thought when he was drafted he'd be back because as a sophomore he still has bargaining leverage and he knows he can perform better

Also, committs tom lemke and geoff baldwin in the 10th round... I think he depends on the signing bonus they get... 10th round may look enticing but we'll see...
