MNC Chances

What's everyone think of Nebraska's chances of playing in the MNC after yesterday? I ask because in 2007 LSU lost two games (one to an unranked team)and still played and won the MNC.

 
Not even remotely thinkin about it. Right now 12 teams are ranked ahead us. Lets take it one week at a time and let the best 2 teams after championship week play in the title game.

 
Not with Boise "creampuff" out there ranked #2 right now. I don't even like our chances as big 12 champs. We fold under pressure against good teams.

 
Zero. It's clear the SDSU game wasn't "playing possum" or an isolated incident. This is a flawed team. If we clean up our flaws and play well from here on out, we'll finish in the top ten. That's not bad for this team.

 
my goal at the beginning of the season is the same goal now, get to a bcs game. if we do that, we can not be disappointed in the season.

No chance, we don't get the same respect that LSU gets. Winning the Big XII and playing in a BCS bowl is the best way this season can end.

 
None. Too many teams in front of us now. We would have to win out and win big which I don't think will happen now either. A TON of things would have to fall in place, way too many things would have to happen. Wont happen.

 
A LOT of things would have to go right. Schedule is too weak to have much of a chance unless a lot of other teams fall.

The rest of the schedule is very winnable. The team needs to focus on the task of winning the Big 12 and let the rest of the chips fall where they may.

It is not about respect LSU gets -- take a look at that year -- LSU played #9 VT -- won big played #7 UF won -- Lost to #18 Kentucky and unranked Arkansas -- in triple overtime after they had wrapped up their division. During the 2007 there was 57 upsests that year -- LSU had the 3rd hardest schedule in the country that year played top 20 teams 7 times not including the NC game
