Modest Mouse

I added the Kings of Leon pic to my sig after I saw them live at The Uptown Theatre in Kansas City. As I've said my favorite band. Suddenly the Uptown Theatre is bringing me back there to see another one of my favorite bands. I'll be watching Modest Mouse perform there on March 2nd. Again, I'm a music junkie type and just want to see if I share a common music taste to go along with obviously being huge Nebraska fans.

that just made me think of matisyahu! they toured with 311 last year and imo they put on a better show than 311 did. if you havent heard them, give em a listen sometime.

white man singing reggae=awesomness!

A few of my friends went down to see them in OKC last year I think it was and they loved it. I'm just glad they are coming this close so I can finally join them in saying I've seen them live.

EDIT: oops my bad I thought you meant you went to see Modest Mouse... :LOLtartar

well technically its just one guy, he has a back up group. The real crazy thing about him is that he is a Hasidic Jew. If you don't know what that is, well its the most strict Judaism there is. For instance on the Sabbath, they don't drive a car, flip a light switch, etc, which is why he doesn't perform on Saturdays.

But he is real real good. One of the best albums I've heard is his Live at Stubb's. Just fantastic from start to finish, especially his beat boxing skills.
