More Espn Projections

Most of it's based on last year, where we weren't very good in the FPI or on the field for that matter. I don't think much of the FPI but Sagarin had us at 38 in his overall rankings and 42 in his predictor rankings.

We lost 4 games by double digits and won 5 games narrowly with a soft schedule last season. I think we'll be considerably better this year, but it's easy to see where the low projections are coming from.

Am I missing something? I am not understanding why everyone thinks Wisconsin is going to be so much better than NU. They lost 8 starters on defense, their best receiver, their really good TE are gone. They have issues at QB

Yes, Gordon is good and they have 3/5 of an offensive line back, but I am not seeing something that all these "experts" see.

I truly think a 7-5 season is more likely for them than for NU. Didn't anyone else watch their spring game? I think the score was like 13-10 and no moved the ball. Not because the defense was that good, but because the offense was that bad.

We are consistent at being good enough to be competitive but not good enough to win any hardware. A 4 loss season until Bo can provide hope for anything different - just because that is our consistent performance.

Well sh#t. Since the almighty has spoken, i say its time to transpire this into a "coach search" thread. Who you want?
Stay on topic.
Youre right. I apologize.

I was too quick. I shouldve waited till AFTER it turned i to such on its own accord.
hehehehe ~ +1

Because over the past 6 years nebraska has won either 9 or 10 games 100% of the time. So to predict ANYTHING other than 9 or 10 wins is in fact outlandish and ignorant. I say 10-4. Lol
We often need bowl game upsets or comeback victories to get to those numbers. To think Nebraska is a shoe-in for 9 wins each year is outlandish. We could have easily finished 7-5 last year if it weren't for the Northwestern hail mary.
I'm not saying it's GOING to happen, but all of the 'OMG ESPN hates us' crap gets old.
I don't think ESPN hates us. I just think they did a crappy job.
