So enough about last weekend, it's only going to make me more upset the more I think about it.

But it's in the past now. How about this Ball State game Saturday? I'm feeling a big win. One to get the teams confidence back up so that we feel good going into conference play.

Ball State's 2-1 right now with a win over Navy this last weekend. They had a pretty balanced attack rushing 42 times for 262 yrds, and passing 33 times for 277 yards. I think they might lean more on their running game when they see last weeks USC game knowing that that's the way to get around us. So the defense is going to have to work hard this week.

As a side note, I didn't realize Navy was such a run team. Only 8 pass attempts...and 65 rushes? Thank god we're not playing them next weekend! chuckleshuffle

I might be at the Ball State game too. Depending on if the tickets my friend is selling me are in my price range. Should be a good one though! And by that, I mean a good WIN!

 
Ball State is a team on the come up. They're a dark horse contender to win the MAC this year. Their offense is kind of similar to our's. I think it's really going to come down to the talent level. No disrespect, but our level of talent is lightyears ahead of their's. We should win this one big.

Nevada is a better team than Ball State, and you saw what happened there.

After seeing the offense on Saturday I expect another Nevada type game. Hopefully the D shows up and is able to stop the run. 52-10 Skers.

 
I think our run defense should improve, through less mistackles (I hope), and less quality players (I mean between USC and Ball State).

Our defense is either gonna come out pissed, and beat the living crap out of Ball State, or they are gonna come out with their heads down, and give up a ridiculous amount of points to a below average team.
