I know this has nothing to do with the Huskers, and the thread may get locked by the MODS, but I just wanted to point something out.
I live in the Los Angeles area and I make everyone aware of my status as the biggest Husker fan on the west coast. Of course, that opens me up to criticism (usually good natured) from co-workers and friends. One such conversation culminated with a debate on which conference was the toughest, the Big Twelve or the Pac ten (Don’t laugh I know that was a no brainer, but HE started the argument). Anyway, at one point I said that after USC the rest of the Pac-10 had pretty much turned into the WAC or the Mountain West (my coworker is a UCLA alumni so when I speak of USC’s dominance it really sticks in his craw). You know what I mean, the Pac-10 plays very little defense, has high scoring shoot-outs, and recently seems to have lower tier talent.
Well I know it is early point in the Bowl season, buy I am here to officially apologize to anyone from the WAC or the Mountain West. Obviously I was insulting them when I compared the weak-a$$ Pac-10 to their apparently superior conferences.
Pac-10 0-2 in bowls so far…and those aren’t even the worst teams in the conference. What a joke that conference has become!
