I guess it might be more of a prediction, but I suspect NU will have 10 sacks in todays game.

Reasons:

1) La Tech has a kid starting QB whose only thrown thrown 6 passes in D-1A

2)D-line and LB's are awesome

If that's not indepth...what is?

 
I think we have to bring the heat. Not give any time to the QB.

Force some turnovers, and force them out of their game plan.

You KNOW they're going to try and exploit our secondary.

I just hope Taylor can pick up where he left off, but mostly I curious how the O-Line will look :wacko:

 
i'm hoping they can get some reps for the back-ups today. that is the key to the game for me. I don't care the score as long as they win. I don't want them to show any more than they have to show and I want them to get the reps for the backups

 
I don't see a lot of passes today. I think Calli is really gonna establish the run. Maybe 15-25 passes for Taylor, somewhere in there. But he will have a high percentage imo.

I can see that happening, but I really want some air out long balls also to get me pumped for the season. It would be nice to have a taste of what the big guys in Purify and Holt will bring.

 
I think they will throw at least one deep ball to Mo or Holt, just to show the size we have. Other than that, ins, outs, and a lot of over the midle stuff. Oh, and don't forget about Herian. Saw an article where Callahan said he is back to healthy. I could see a deep ball being thrown to him!

 
I think a play that will be really good this year is the play action. With the running game improved, they PA will be a very good play to do, and could result in a huge gain.

 
As John Madden would say, "the team with the most points, could win the game today." Let's hope we have the most points, lol.
