My postives i took from today

All-Conference
1. Keller...wow, he's becoming more poised week by week

2. Octavian...the only bright spot on this defense...one other thing i was impressed with (1 play but grix finally showed his vertical leap)

3. Sean Hill... finally a tight end that can stretch the field! well, a little more then we've had since herian went down, could be a real threat in the future

4. potential in Helu and Dillard i was impressed!

now after that, i'm on the fire cosgrove wagon...just not right now at this point in the season...like someone else said who we going to replace him with? At the end of the season i think he's gone, or atleast hope, but it might be wishful thinking. The D almost lost the game for us. The offense is looking strong, and i'm hoping they continue to improve so they can atleast keep us in some games in conference play, because i know for a dagnabit fact the d won't unless they get a fire under their a$$ and improve DRASTICLY

 
2. I would combine two and four and say Dillard is a bright spot. Whenever he would go back to the sidelines and Mckeown would come back in I would groan.

 
Several people had fantastic catches. I think it was Swift in the endzone that snagged a ball up over his head with the cover guy right on top of him? Good stuff.

One other positive note.

No one has seemed to mention that this game had them on the edge of their seat. Hoping and praying for the good guys to win. The excitement of a come from behind win. Who cares if it was ball state. I LOVE that a game gets me so excited, frustrated, elated, etc.

I felt AWESOME that we won today. I jumped up and down like we had won a national championship. Every game matters. No one should expect a win. You shood root for the win and be glad when it comes to be.

 
Eh, the Pinkshirts sorta overshadowed the goodness of an exciting football game for me. I love an exciting game too, but not so much when I have to watch our defense get shredded on just about every possession the opponent has.

I agree our offense (passing game anyway) is progressing nicely, running games needs to improve, as for our defense well..........I think you guys know the answer to that.
