let me start out by saying i feel really good about this game. Coming into the USC game, i wasnt to confident in the team, i hoped we would win but i really didnt feel like we would. Today i feel as though we have a very good chance to beat texas, and in doing so shut the kids mouths at my school who say NU sucks no matter which stats i can throw at them

If we do beat them, then i think we can take anyone left on our schedule, and, depending on how the game is won, think we can beat them in the title game. It really just depends how we play.. if we get killed , then i think we win 9 regular season games.... we beat them in an ugly lucky game , i say we win 10 regular season games and 11 total.. But if we go out there, put very good effort and beat them then ill say we have a very good chance at 13-1 or 12-2.. Just IMO..

 
I think we can beat them as well, but I felt the same way about USC, but I do feel it more about this game. I know McCoy has played in big games, but he hasn't left Texas, and he hasn't played in a road environment like this one. I think he will struggle a little bit with all the blitzes that our D will bring. Can't wait for the game.

 
The big difference between Texas and USC in my thinking about the games is that Texas just doesn't have that big time playmaker that USC had in Jarrett. I feel that we matchup pretty well against them. Our depth may not be where they have theirs but we are improving as we continue to get some young kids some reps. Like other people have said, this game will probally be determined by who wins the battle at the line of scrimmage.

 
The only receiver I worry about is Sweed, because he is a big fast guy. Hopefully our D-line is in McCoy's face during the game though so he can't get the throw off.

 
Sweed is good, but I don't think he compares to Jarrett. He probally isn't even on par with Blythe quite yet either.

 
:yeah I'm more confident about this game than I was about the USC game and I thought we could hang with USC pretty good.........I think we match up better with Texas and they are more beatable than people want to give them credit for........
