Citing, "strain on the sensibilities and emotions of the great people of the State of Nebraska," recently hired Athletic Director Trev Alberts has indicated that the football program will play its last game against Fordham University on September 4th, pointing out that to end football in Nebraska with a "likely win" would be a worthwhile gamble.
"Season ticket monies already in the Nebraska coffers will be spread out evenly along the banks of the Keya Paha River, where it's mulching properties will do the most good," he added.
