Nebraska football most important to their state

I was listening to the ESPN radio Game Day crew minutes ago on 1620 with their coverage in Iowa City. One of the topics was what football team is the most important to their state. Three of the four commentators picked Nebraska. Other schools considered were Arkansas, Wisconsin, Ohio State, LSU, and Oklahoma. The fourth commentator picked LSU closely followed by Oklahoma.

I think it's definately us, with LSU to Louisiana a close second. Just look what they did for the Katrina victims last year, but it has to be us. Things around the state are so good right now with the way we are playing. It's down if we are losing.

i live in Southern Iowa, and anybody in my town will jump all over the chance to tell you that iowa has the best......

Iowa fans are pretty annoying!!!! Most of them will be quiet after their loss to Ohio State tonight though..........
