My brother-in-law went to Vegas this past weekend and picked up a sheet with the odds to win the 2011 BCS Championship. Nebraska has the 3rd best odds of all college football teams at 7/1...Here are a few more in case you are interested:

Those are much better odds than what we've had the last couple of years. Having the 3rd best odds at 7:1 is pretty good.

Looking at the sheet, I'm guessing that originally it was listed in order by teams with the best odds at the end of last season (probably around February- March?). Nebraska was about 8th down on the list. So I'm guessing a lot of people are sipping the koolaid. But probably with good reason. I mean, I love my Huskers but I wouldn't have placed any money on a similar type of bet last year even at 25:1 or 50:1 odds.

I'll take 500 on USC to win it all and parlay that with 300 to vanderbilt going to the sugar bowl. Not sure which one is less likely
