Nebraska Never Punted Saturday

When was the last time that happened?

It's a helluva good stat for an offense to put up, although it didn't exactly translate to the scoreboard.

K-state when T-Mart tore them a new one?

*edit* nevermind we punted twice...

Apparently it's happened 10 times (including yesterday). The most recent one before yesterday was against Kansas in 2000.

They would have been better off to have punted once. As HCMR admitted after the game, the long FG attempt was a poor decision.

I was kinda surprised they didn't go for it
Same here. I hate when coaches punt from that part of the field in 4th & manageable (unless they're playing Nebraska). The reward of converting vastly outweighs the risk of losing 15 yards of field position.
