Nebraska/Ohio State New Conference

Eventually this type of conference will happen.  It makes the playoffs much easier and more meaningful.  But this has been talked about for a few years now.  Nothing new here.

If/when the 4 conferences happen, will they be under the direction of the NCAA?  Will they be 4 independent conferences with their own hired commissioner? Will they each have their own set of by-laws agreed by all members or will the NCAA oversee each one? Lastly will Kevin Warren have any part?

I think the current prevailing opinion is they will break away from the NCAA.  I've alway interpreted that to mean they will probably have their own commissioner or at least one governing board but not sure how it will shake out.
