I am sure there are some people that think that Scott Frost had an icy relationship with the current NU staff. After this article, it certainly doesn't appear that way now. It's cool to see NU and Oregon sharing ideas.

I am just really happy to see Scott talking to NEB. I thought there were some qualms between Scott and NU........

I guess not.

 
"Pelini and Frost don't see eye to eye" is something I've read at least a dozen times. But no one is ever able to expand on that statement.

Now we know why.

It probably goes back to when Watson and Gilmore left NU, and Frost was rumored to be going for a spot on the NU staff. Apparently, Frost wanted to come over as the OC, while Pelini already had his guy in Beck. I think it turned out well for both parties. I have zero complaints with Beck as OC, and Frost is now the OC at Oregon.

I think it has a lot more to do with another board that spread some rumors, over and over and over.

I remember us sharing ideas with Florida State way back in the late 70s, early 80s. Did wonders for Florida State's program. Then we go a bit of sharing going in reverse when Osborne saw the need for speed. This type of sharing with Oregon can only be good!

Just because two people dont see eye to eye, dont mean they dont get along. It was probably a better fit at the time for the two to stay distanced. Doesnt mean they cant have that relationship.

Case in point-you and EZ. You guys never agree on anything, yet I know deep down you guys love each other.

These rumors existed before all of that started.

I thought they had already been disproven when Scott's father was on record saying "Scott wants to come home" during the coaching candidacy period you're referring to.

I've seen this several times on this board and for the life of me, I have no idea why. Yes, I like what he has done with the receivers. But, does that automatically make him OC material?

Not necessarily. However, he does seem like an excellent coach, and the move would see to fit Bo's way of thinking.... Him or Barney; you decide!!!!
