Nebraska ranks 2nd in states where college football matters most

Nebraska's passion for Husker football is obvious — Memorial Stadium has been sold out for every game since Nov. 3, 1962.
How does Nebraska's passion rank compared to other states? According to a study by the New York Times, Nebraska ranks second in passion for college football, trailing only Alabama.

And I'm thinking when Alabama and Auburn were down, Nebraska would have been #1
 
Couple observations

  1. Surprised the state of Texas is so bare, but I think that has to do woth the Dallas Cowboys.
  2. The county in the middle of Nerbaska has no internet.
  3. nobody cares about Colorado.
