Will Shields: 14 seasons, 12 Pro Bowls, 7 1st or 2nd-team All-Pro selection. Didn’t miss a game in his career. HOF induction long overdue.

Crazy to think Mick Tinglehoff and Monte Kiffin were both on the same high school team in Lexington. They dominated that era.

I heard a story that Tinglehoff & Kiffin's Lexington team only gave up one TD all year and guys were so upset they cried after it happened.

My husband said it was too bad it took the HOF folks so long to get Mick Tinglehoff in. Said he was a beast in the '60's for the Huskers. I'm just so proud of these guys! Nebraska Tradition is alive and well!
