So, that could set up Wahoo against Wahoo Bishop Neuman in the finals.

Is there anyone on here from that area? How do you get a town that size with TWO teams that good? Do either of these schools pull players from surrounding areas?? Omaha??

Watched Winnebago play a few games this year,Wingett is a great player and will be missed but they will be a force again next season.

Still surprising both teams made the finals and were on opposite sides of the bracket. I remember Sandy Creek and Sutton, both from Clay County, meeting in the finals in the late 80's after playing 3 times in the regular season.

I had no clue he lived in Ponca. Is he from there?

No wonder they made it to the finals.

Kansas - boys and girls are the same weekend (this weekend) and each class is played in a different city. Seems weird to me still.

Plus side? They play a 3rd/4th place game - chance for one more team to end season on a win. The high school I teach at did finish 3rd

Norfolk has one of the best bigs in the state and Papio's big is hurt.

So of course they keep chucking threes even though they have yet to make one.
