Nebraska v A&M series thread

8-5 Aggies....final.

Had our chances as has been this case this year......left bases loaded twice. aTm 6-run second inning certainly didnt help either...

Oh well, hopefully we can get it back together tomorrow and take the series!!

Wonder if the protest will come in to play. I say no doubt Nebraska scores a run if Tezak isn't called out after the assault on his spine on the pickoff attempt.

 
The game writeup said the game was played "in protest." The Crew Chief cited a rule as to why they made the call the way they did. Overall a great series of competitive baseball. Nice to see a game in College Station again. LOTS of Husker Red in the stands. Lots of errors and fun play to see. Nebraska has a pretty solid club this year, and just needs a little more O.

 
I wasn't really disappointed with the offense this weekend, I guess, as I was with our pitcher's being unable to keep the ball in the park....what was it 7 or 8 homeruns for the series? Unacceptable.

 
It was not an offensive issue this weekend although we did leave runners on base in scoring position. It is pitching! Our pitching has not been the same since Childress left here!

We are definitely bottome half of Big 12 this year! So sad!
