How many people on here would believe it if someone told them that Doane has actually beat NU in football? I never would have believed it but it's true!

1891, , NU beat Doane in Lincoln 28-4 on Halloween, and then went to Crete on Nov 14 and lost 12-14. We finished the season 2-2.

(Just got my media guide in the mail today so I'm not getting much work done!)

 
Here is another fun fact for you. Nebraska has shut out teams 201 times since playing football

Nebraska currently also holds the record for most shutouts by a current Big12 team

Interesting fact, but you could actually replace NU with any college team in Nebraska and still interest some folks with the fact. Maybe Tommie will suit up this year and they will win a game or two!
