For anyone who didn't see it this was the basic plot (don't read if you tivo-ed it, or if you plan on catching it on re-runs).
Hank wants to get Bobby more interested in football so he and his friends take Bobby to the Big XII championship game between Nebraska and Texas. I think it was Dale who bought the tickets but when they checked them they said "Texas vs. Nebrasky." Since the tickets were counterfeit they had to buy nose bleed seats from a scalper to get in.
During the game they all snuck into a luxury box which turned out to be reserved for a former all-American Nebraska QB. At one point in the game a player is knocked out of bounds and knocks the Nebraska Coach unconscious. When the assistant doesn't know what to do, he calls up to the box where the former QB is supposed to be to ask for a play.
At this point Texas is winning and there is time for one play. Nebraska needs a touchdown to win. Hank answers the phone in the luxury box and the play he sends in is a pitch to the halfback who then quick kicks it. The coach thinks it's a dumb idea but Hank (pretending to be the former QB) assures him it will work.
When Nebraska runs the play, instead of just letting the ball roll dead, a Texas player tries to pick it up thus knocking it into the end zone where Nebraska recovers for a TD.
After the game the Texas fans find out about Hank sending in the winning play and they attack him and his friends in the parking lot. A caravan of Nebraska fans saves them and the scene fades out with the group stuck in a caravan on their way back to Lincoln.
It was actually pretty funny, and they didn't really go out of their way to make Nebraska look like fools (well maybe the assistant coach, but it is a cartoon after all, they needed it for the plot).
Good for Fox.
GO BIG RED!!!
