Nebraska Wrestling

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know much about wrestling, but i’ve watched enough this year to know that Nebraska as a team sucks offensively. Very little aggression. Taylor and Minto wrestled the exact same match. Boring as all hell.

You are not wrong. It is one of the reasons I think Manning should step down and we get young blood in.

Larger the weight, the more its about position & capitalizing on mistakes.

Top 3 the last 2 years is great. And i’m not calling for any changes in coaches. I just think they’re inactive, always fighting against stall calls, and not real aggressive. Especially against Haines. What would it have hurt to get after him a little? Minto wasn’t expected to win anyhow.

That was was BS, Haines did absolutely nothing & should been called for stalling. Because he penn st., he did not even get a warning!

Always the bridesmaids.
Understand the sport. The top athletes go play other sports, like football. For a long time its been Iowa, Iowa St., Penn St & Okla St. We are now in that conversation. Penn St. recruits the northeast region, Okla St has the south and Iowa, Iowa St. & NE are recruiting the Midwest. We have a little more recruiting competition for great wrestlers. Its about finding a few more gems like Minto from FL. Okla. St. had several really good freshman this year. Mainly from Oklahoma.

I look for AJ to drop back down to 197. I don't think he would have beat out Ziola this next year.
