Harris doesn't have a final poll I guess. Billingsley will be out at noon today and AH probably later on in the day.

Rothman (FACT), a computer ranking used in the initial BCS, has us ranked #19. So far all the computer rankings I've seen has us in the top 25. We should make it in Billingsley and definitely in Anderson-Hester (we were already #23).

Looks like the humans were too tough on us.

Don't know if these have all been updated yet or not, but this site has a comparison.

Pretty much 23rd give or take 4 spots.

And the ever popular over-underrated teams and preseason mag accuracy site (Phil Steele was 2nd this year, Lindy's as last) should be updated later today:

NU is 27, but I dont like the comments made about us.

The buzz: Nine wins is probably more than Bo Pelini expected in his first season as coach. But the Huskers need a new quarterback and have to find more toughness on defense.
although true, they shouldn't have used a new QB for next year in the final rankings for this year, they are not related
our defense needs a secondary.... but toughness? we just allowed single digit yardage rushing in our bowl game...... with our backup LB's no less

:yeah Against a pretty good backfield as well.

Every jobber gets a voice during the off-season. Just think, this time last year it was are D-line that was going to be a weakness. What a difference a year can make.

hmmm....

Perhaps he didn't rank NU based on ONE game. ;)

NU's offense is damn good, but let's face it, the defense, though improved, needs more work.

NU came in #55 nationally in total D, not bad ...

unless you remember the blowout losses to OU and mizzou. Hence the pretty poor #80 ranking in scoring defense (out of 119 teams). That ain't so good.

and maybe giving up nearly 29 points a game, doesn't sound so tough to him...

Bo will turn them around, but the guy's OPINION has some merit.
