Seeing some lines have trended toward Iowa - Showing them a 1.5 favorite now.Huskers are 1.5 point favorites with an over/under of 136.5. ESPN gives them a 50.3% chance to win.
Essegian, Burt & Jarusevicius are out. Not sure about Curtis - they said they were shooting for either Iowa or Penn State for his return before the Northwestern game.
Go Big Red!
Maryland is playing better so maybe not as bad a loss as it seems on paper. They beat Minnesota on the road the game before Iowa.I haven't watched Iowa much this year, but looking from 30k feet they seem like a 1 man team. Stirtz has been their leading scorer in 12 of their 14 B1G games.
Their 4 best wins are at Indiana, at Washington, vs UCLA, vs USC. They have lost to every ranked team they have played (at Iowa St, at Michigan St, vs Illinois, vs/at Purdue), as well as at Minnesota (who has taken down multiple ranked teams at home) and at Maryland (inexplicable).
They are coming off 2 straight losses (you can call that either bad or good...) at Maryland by 7 and home to Purdue by 21.
