Those aren't the only choices, of course. Fred has been mixing up his strategies as the game is played on, and he finally has the players to follow those mixed schemes nearly to the letter. Scoring is huge, of course, but those defense moves are just right at the right times mostly. Thus our record so far this season. WHEW!


EDIT SIDE NOTE: I wish they'd post the Huskers basketball schedule in this basketball forum instead of the football schedule.
 
Nebraska opens as a 5.5 point favorite with an over/under of 148.5. ESPN gives them a 63.5% chance to win.

Essegian, Burt & Jarusevicius are out.

After watching Northwestern vs Mich St and Illinois, i feel like they are better than their record. Nebraska needs to avoid this as a trap game. Nebraska can't let Northwestern punch above its weight if Nebraska plays sloppy. Need to be locked in on defense.
