Just commenting to give you a compliment on asking an interesting question and then doubling back with the answer. Probably saved me 15 minutes of search time, was legit going to fire up the Google machine and get an answer. Thank you.

Tried THE GOOGLES but yeah, it didn't come up with a good answer, so had to do it the old fashioned way aka reading web pages of yore... more records Fred & Co. are about to break! (And all in all not surprising that 4-6 in road games is the best we've done, since joining B10...)

Mast and JLaw didn’t play the final 13 mins.

Why? Because the 5 that were out there took over the game (was 46-41 when Mast exited). No need to sub and mess with momentum.

Post game, Hoiberg said that the last few games he has been trying to rest Mast as some games coming up he might have to play 30+ minutes.

Plus, Northwestern is a bad offensive team.

I thought he was talking about Sam Hoiberg. Sam's stats don't show up on the stat sheet but he rebounds steals and has done a excellent job of finding the open man.

Izzo spoke quite highly of both Sam and Frager. Izzo spent more time talking about Sam because he knows him personally, in addition to what you noted.
