I haven’t seen any games yet but listened to most on Huskers radio.  Hard to tell much as broadcasts of BB is tough and KP is not exactly the best ever at such a challenging task.

That said, I am very disappointed so far - team doesn’t play good team ball, shooting is still poor, turnovers, fouls, defense, rebounds, etc.  Basics and fundamentals seem like Husker mens BB of the past 30 years.  Not much better.  Probably finish at bottom of the league, as usual.  I hate to say it, and will be pleased if I am reassured by someone with firsthand knowledge, but I don’t see this team as getting better than prior ones.  Sloppy.  Selfish. Poor shooters when supposed to be a bunch of 3-pt specialists?   Tell me I’m wrong please.

Until this team proves they can consistently shoot and actually make the ball go through the hoop, this is going to be a frustrating team that I have little confidence in.

The way it looks to me is ALOT of Hoiberg’s success at Iowa St was thanks to TJ Otzelberg.

Iowa St was absolutely awful last year.

Hired TJ back and now are rated.

For me the jury is still out on how good of a coach Hoiberg actually is.

Doesn’t matter how good you can recruit if you can’t coach them.

Miles would be killing it with this talent level already imo.

I mean ... you have to get them here in the first place, so it's not really worth even talking about but even if he could get them here...

I’m not even saying it as a criticism necessarily but this team really feels like a “it’s a game of runs,” type team. When things are going well, it’s fun and goes well. But when things are bad, we just can’t get out of the way to end a run. Or we stop a 7-0 run finally with a bucket just to give up another 6-0 run right after. Probably related to the poor 3 pt shooting.

I feel like we are going to surprise a team or two when the shooting goes in but it also makes it hard to trust us night in and night out.

I've been all over the board on my opinions of this team.  I was excited before the season. Watched a couple games and was very disappointed.  Watched the NC State game and got excited again.  Watched the Indiana game and I'm back to disappointed.

I just wish we had a men''s sports team that we could be confident that they are going to come out and do what's needed to win a game like this.  Watching the girls last night, late in the game, they were down for a bit....I actually had confidence they could come back and win.  That's a good feeling.

Big 10 womens is no where close to men's in completion.  The lady's were playing a sub-par team last night and should have won by double digits.  I will give them credit for pulling out the win when the 3 would not fall.  The men can not get away with that as the teams are much better.

I understand. But, I don't have confidence in the men's team to be able to do that night in and night out even against sub-par teams.  With how this team can shoot, there is no reason why the Indiana game should have gone the way it did.

Agree, because the women's team has been in shooting better from long range.
