Nebrasketball Game #19 - @ Rutgers: Monday, January 21 - 7:00 (BTN)

Gotta win this game. Games like this cant be squandered. The B1G is too tight. 

Honestly, I think we should be able to go like 6-2 in our next 8. Our last 3 games of the season are BRUTAL, so we need to make hay now.

Rutgers might only be 1-6 in Conf play but they did beat a #16(at the time) Ohio State team. Playing on the road is tough and if you take Rutgers for granted we will lose. 

Need a bounce back shooting night.

I wouldn't be worried about this game if it were in Lincoln.  But, road conference games are always a lot tougher.

We should take care of business.  But, here's to hoping we don't have a bad night.

Exactly. Rutgers is really bad yet again. 

They do have two Shaq's.. well a Shaq and a Shaqille. Shaquille Doorson is a 7 footer who doesnt play a lot of minutes but can get some boards. He also racks up a few fouls as well.

Eugene Omoruyi  can do some damage but at 6'7 I think we can control him. Last year we kept him mostly in check-

Total in two games: 39 minutes/ 7-20 shooting/ 14 boards/ 15 pts

Geo Baker is there only other guy averaging double figures this year. 

I didnt realize but last year he played 35 minutes in both games last year. 70 minutes=17 points total against us last year.

 
Can’t continually throw up bricks from outside.  Those shots will be there.  Hoping for a inside out attack, and a strong go at the rim effort if the jumpers are going the way of the brick

Omoruyi probably not playing. He dislocated his kneecap against Ohio State.

 
Nice start. Turnover first possession on offense, give up two offensive rebounds and pu back on defense  :facepalm:
