I honestly see this ending badly.   

Dont see them rising up and saying f#*k you to the seeding but see them going look at me shooting from this new 3 point line all game in front of all 142 people and their stupid cowbells

Well....I see this team either being in the final game of the NIT or losing the first game.

Yep, there's nothing to play for at this point. No home crowd, just, "well no one thinks we're worth a s#!t". I totally understand if they come not caring and just wanting to move on to next year.

 
Exhibition it was Nebraska 76, Miss St 72

Most our team played well besides Copeland and Roby who combined for 3/16 shooting

We also jumped out to like a 20 point lead in the 1st half.  Went cold in the 2nd half and let them back in.  Plus we were awful in the beginning of the year until our guys started to mesh.  I'm sure the same could be said about MS State.  Motivation is the only thing that will determine a win or not. We are the better team and I hope we play angry.  This team has been fun to watch and I'm not ready for it to be over.  

 
fwiw were 6-9 (nice) away from PBA. The wins are over:

we did beat Ms St in an exhibition earlier this year however. We'll see if Miles can get the boys ready to play. 

 
There could be a possibility that some on the team might use this as motivation to give a big FU to the NIT and NCAA tournaments and go on a run and win this thing.

It's possible. I've found that positive motivation usually works better than negative motivation, but if the team leaders take charge then anything is possible.

 
I worry from Miles press conference where he mentions not knowing how the team will respond.  While that is the obvious truth you probably wanted to hear something more along the lines of we will have then ready and excited to extend our season.  In any case the best scenario is for Miss St to come out talking trash.  Regardless of the stakes if it becomes personal it's motivation.

Idk, the last time a team trash talked us on the road (St. Johns) it didn't turn out very well.
