Excited.  But it's on B1G+ and I do not have that.  Will try to listen online.

Go Huskers!

Huskers win 87-67

Shot well from the floor and FT line.

Brice 27pts, Rollie Worster 18, Connor Essegian 13, Andrew Morgan 10

Worster was a suprise.  This team has enough scorers that someone can pick up a player on a bad night.  Only concern right now is perimeter defense.  Too many late or slow close outs.  I'm sure it will get fixed.  Nice start!

Thought the exact same thing.

Last year's team had that killer mentality.  If they got a team down, they stepped on their throats instead of cruising or letting them back in the game.  Hopefully this team learns from last night.

It wasn't all late/slow close outs.  Some of it was not rotating properly after the original on ball defender got beat.  The defensive rotations will be easy to fix with film & practice.  Not sure how to avoid getting beat off the dribble because that is frequently a foot speed issue - positioning can help, but only so much.

Also, their entire offense is bombing threes.  They were going to put them up whether they were really open or not.
