Sounds like another instance where kids let alcohol rule their thoughts and now they will pay for it for the rest of their lives. They'll both have to live with the deed now. One more than the other it appears. I sure hope the kid in the hospital can recover from this.

This is looking worse and worse.

Kolstad is currently on life support after undergoing surgery Tuesday to relieve pressure on his brain, three days after allegedly being repeatedly kicked in the head by Nelson and another man who has been charged as well. “A significant amount of his brain tissue that was no longer viable [was] removed,” the family’s statement read, while also confirming Kolstad is not able to breathe on his own. He underwent a tracheotomy Friday because of the damage to his lungs.

Truly sad that this young man, husband and father, if he survives, will probably not have anything resembling a normal life. If he dies, Nelson and the other thug will pay in more ways than one.
