New Conference Rival?

Over the past decade Iowa has been Nebraska's equal on the field.

Would that be the same decade which nearly ALL Nebraska fans would say that the program was abyssal and should be buried and never spoken of again due to the amount of tarnish it inflicted on the true legacy of Husker football?

If yes, then I wouldn't exactly be using that as an example of how valid Iowa is as a rival. Just sayin'...

Gotta be Iowa, Brother in-law and Sister are Iowa grads so I can't wait to see them beat. PSU would be a close second. Perhape that gophers can be like colorado and rise up for a few years and become a rival.

Definitely Iowa, I have to listen to them numb nut squawkeyes everyday and I can't wait until we kick the crap out of them.

I never really gave two consecutive moments of thought to Iowa until I was driving through one day and stopped at a gas station. The attendant wouldn't turn the pump on until I removed my Huskers cap. Unbelievable. Of course after pumping the gas I put it back on along with my Huskers jacket that was in my car, and walked inside to pay. I've never seen such seething hatred before. It was absolutely amazing. This was like 2 years ago -- so it's not like there was any particular reason for them to be bitter with us. I was just a bit taken back.

You can bet Iowa will be gunning for us, rival or not.
