New DB Coach Search

"I'm back turd nuggets"
I was just thinking that. JP could be the DC/DB coach & the pothead could be the DL coach after a PR stint at the local addiction rehab center.

This is great coming from Mr. Accountability
What the hell is that supposed to mean? Please clarify.
He needs to be accountable for his actions?

Oh. Where gonna play this "guess what I'm thinking but dont really mean" game again, eh?
I'm the one that wrote it. Your comment was just very fitting of your name, why so hostile?
No hostile. I just struggle with context. Were you joking? Were you serious? I asked you to clarify. You did. Thank you.

NU should consider only candidates who have at least several (ideally more) years elsewhere as a DB coach and whose record there shows demonstrated excellence. No one w/o at least 2-3 years experience elsewhere as a DB coach should even score an interview. Anything less than this is yet another poor hiring process. Whenever Bo hires someone it makes me anxious... his track record in assistant hiring is not at all good (some hits... but mostly misses).

Was joking - just found your comment about the accountability of Mr. Sanders amusing given your name as Mr. Accountability. I'm very juvenile and jovial.
Well. I've very mature as well as literate.
That's good because our future depends on libraries, reading and daydreaming.

One guy I like is Kendrick Shaver at USU. He was the co-defensive backs national coach of the year last year. Last year, USU was 10th in the nation in pass efficiency defense and 15th this year. He's also a young guy and was raised in the great plains region

They shut down Brett Smith who only had a TD pass in the 4th quarter this year and played pretty good pass defense against lynch and NIU, allowing him passing numbers that were well below his season average. Hope the NU staff takes a look at this guy, he does a lot with little talent

a candidate like this seems very, very appealing. Experience. Demonstrated success elsewhere. This is the type of guy NU needs.

I just laugh at the comments suggesting guys like Brown and Warfield who have no major college experience. All Husker fans overwhelmingly do is b!^@h about Bo hiring guys with no experience. We b!^@h about hiring Bo when he had no experience, call for head, and want to replace him with a Scott Frost, after one years an OC. I know it's not the same people, but the general double standard is hilarious.

As mentioned on 1620, Marvin and Bo are very, very close, but Marvin is in California in a very good situation, making good money, living near beach...
Wasn't he let go from USC and is now coaching a high school?
Not because is didn't perform, but because they overhauled their entire D after a 7-6 season. He took them from 100th something to around 50 in pass D. M.Kiffen left and everyone got canned or quit.

Rumors aside, I always thought his, Marvin Sanders, departure had something to do with John Blake.
It wouldn't have anything to do with John Blake, he cited the reason for his resignation after 2010 was for "family and personal reasons" fwiw.
