New Husker commit 2005

Rumors are circulating that the Huskers have picked up another recruit for the class of 2005...!!!!! His name James Paulk a 4 star juco O'linemen (6'5 305). Supposedly everything hinges on a Math class.

Jason Thompkins, a JC football All-American kicker for College of Canyons last season, hasaccepted a scholarship to NCAA Division II Minnesota State. Teammate Greg Titiriga, a long snapper, plans to walk on at Fresno State and offensive lineman James Paulk is headed to Nebraska on a scholarship providing he passes a math class at Canyons this semester.

All news to me. I looked on both services and found nothing. But the link you found from the paper would say otherwise.

If this kid does indeed come to Nebraska, that must mean someone else is not going to make the grade.

Okay got some more info.

He has to finish a math "test" not class and then a class or two to finish his AA.

If these requirements are met, he is a Husker.

He signed with Washington out of high school

6-5, 300 and runs a 5.0 flat 40

380 bench and a 540 squat

I honestly think this guys a long shot to make it to Nebraska. I've read he needs to complete 18 hours by August.

Paulk Was ranked very high this year coming out of his college. Ranked ahead of Hardy, TOmerlin and Bowman (by some)
