This guy is from Ole Miss and again he's a coach that has bounced around a bit. Do we as Husker fans really expect these guys to be here for the next 10 years and gel as a staff like we have had in the past?? But at face value the recruiting part is fabulous.

Looks like our outside LB coach maybe out before he is in. Apparently he was offered a head coaching position. Callahan will know by Friday.

Its his alma mater Cornell that has his interest. Looks like the roles might be reversed for us this time around, with a coach being drawn away to go "where his heart is".

I would certainly give it serious consideration," Knowles said. "Whenever Cornell has called for me, as a student-athlete or as a coach, I have always said yes."

Well the Big Red vine says our new LB coach is Steve Stanard. Sound familiar? Thats b/c he played and coached at NU. And word is that he wasnt exactly Mr congeniality. There arent going to be many happy people about this one when you look at the talent that was displaced, i.e. Marvin Sanders etc.
