New seats at Memorial Stadium

The sell out streak is pretty much the only streak we have remaining (hopefully we don't start a new streak of years without a bowl game). Because of this, the seats being added to Memorial Stadium concern me. If we continue to play at this less than average level, how long will it be before the fans stop spending money to get to Lincoln for games? Nebraska is a small state and I would rather the stadium remain "small" as compared to Michigan Stadium, etc., but continue to sell out year after year.

 
i would find it hard to imagine adding wat... 10,000 seats would actually hurt the attendence record. i'm sure there are 10,000 people around the country that would come to see a nebraska game. ive heard so many statements like, "husker football is the only thing in nebraska, its life" and stuff like that. if it is just that, there should be no problem... plus the louder the better i say, enclose that alil more and add a few thousand and it could be one of the loudest if not the loudest

 
There will be around 6K new seats, not 10 AFAIK.

I first would ask how many people are on the wait list?

 
Unfortunately, this is the only streak that matters in Lincoln any more, thats why it is the only one still intact :WTH

I am on the waiting list. Hopefully I won't have to "donate" money just to have a chance at tickets.

I am on the list too, but from what I heard you need to donate something to get a call from the university.
