Teams that continue to change uniforms have no tradition to maintain.

From an outsider's perspective, NU needs to keep a "traditional" uniform. When I think of NU I think old-fashion, tough, no-nonsense football. As a "closet" Husker fan I always think of you guys as Midwestern tough guys representing football the way it should be played. Although you went through some tough times (by your own standards) you are back to being a team that all of America can relate to (except for some morons over at ESPN). I want to see red jerseys with white stripes and no "extras". That's Husker football to me. On September 19, however, you may wear pink and purple and designs like Oregon for all I care, I will root against you with all my guts, but by Monday I will be back to respecting you for being a program to which I hope my team will one day be compared.

Speaking of unis, Mr. Hokieluv...

Any chance ya'll make a maroon version of the throwbacks and use them as your all the time unis? I Love those.

Kille cacti, I hadn't seen you on here for a while. Wondering where you had gone. Oh yes, from what I heard we will do the maroon version of the throwbacks this year and introduce them in one of the first home games, which means either Marshall, NU, or Miami. I do love those jerseys. Since we don't get the honor of playing you until the ACC championship game this year I was hoping we wouldn't break 'em in until we see you in December :) (gotta love those Clemson fans! - oh, BTW, do you still need a turkey leg?)
