Next year I expect Steinkuhler to be to Crick what Crick was to Suh

I think that Baker will be a better lineman than Crick by the end of next season. The kid is 2 inches taller and slightly faster than Suh. He has a a stronger lower body than Suh did coming into our program by about 45lbs on his Squat max. The only difference recruit wise between him and Suh is that Suh got a red shirt season under BC, but steinkuhler gets a year as a backup under Suh and the Pelini brothers. My only concern about Baker at this level is keeping him flexible enough while putting on upper and lower body muscle to continue to stay low in the pads attacking linemen.

I was under the impression Baker redshirted last season? Maybe I am off base on that.

I think both of them have problems running in the open field where as SUH was more linebackerish... We will def have to use more spys playing spreads with QB speed.... which is everyone now???
