    We have added formal language to the guidelines page regarding the politics and religion forum and the use of AI-generated content. The political policy is not new, but the AI update has been added to align us with modern forum best practices. Please review these changes at your convenience.

NHL 2025-26

The Sharks got absolutely smashed by the Ducks last night. Too bad; they were on a roll before they ran into Edmonton 2 days ago. I don't think they're going to make the playoffs.
 
I love this time of year…NHL Playoff hockey. And I am really excited this time. Going to Avs-Kings Rd1 game 1 with my son. 8 rows up behind the attack twice goal 🥅. Family chipped in and got it for my bday. Great seats, should be awesome.

I was originally thinking a round 2 game vs Dallas or Minnesota (assuming we handle LAK) but whooboy, do those ticket prices jump up. Rd 1 is bad enough but Rd 2 is 2-3x the $$.

This Pens-Flyers battle of Pennsylvania series should be a fun one. Almost halfway through the game and every check is getting finished, hard. Gonna be some sore players by the time this series is finished.

And maybe Dallas will be ready for playoff hockey by game 2. 🤣

Dude, you're not kidding. I was at the Nuggets game the night before, didn't get home until 12:45. Then for the Avs game to go into OT the next night? I was running on fumes the next day.

My son and I went to game 1. Of course that was Sunday at 1:00 pm, no problem. But he also went to game 2. He didn’t get home until 1:40am. Ouchtown.
