I like Bednar but he has never had an answer for teams that play the Avs like Vegas is. Deboer, Vegas and now Torts know how to stop them. It’s usually fun hockey to watch (except in the playoffs) but going all in on skill and finesse doesn’t work at the expense of not being able to play the physical game. Avs play too light and timid. The second anyone touched Makar or Mackinnon, they should’ve had to be carried off the ice.

We’ve had too many players fail to show up when it counts the most.
Mackinnon, Necas, Nelson, Nichuskin, Manson, Roy and Kadri haven’t done jack. When your 4th line is your best line, something is wrong. And that something looks like coaching to me. Oh, and the guy from Seattle that’s in charge of our powerplay…why is that guy still employed? PP has been absolute shite.
 
I am so incredibly disappointed in the Avs this series. I knew this would be a tough series just because of how Vegas plays, but they haven't shown up outside of a couple of periods. I like Bednar, but Torts is running circles around him this series. It might be time for a change, but so many critical players have done absolutely nothing all series.

I tried to help you guys out tonight. Turned on the game and you scored immediately. Should've turned it on earlier I guess
 
I’m seriously more bummed about the Avs getting eliminated than I ever have been about Nebraska football over the last 25 years. If ever, this was their year for a cup. I am completely befuddled how they reverted to total a$$ in this series. All credit to VGK. They wanted it more and had the perfect plan to deal with the Avs. Plain and simple, they were out coached and out hearted.

Bednar is a very good coach but they need a new voice going forward. The window for this roster will be closing soon. Nelson and Nichuskin ghosted and need to be moved out. The team needs to get bigger and nastier if they want to make a serious cup run. The speed and finesse game is fun to watch in the regular season but it won’t get you through 4 playoff rounds.

To be honest, I didn't want the Avs to win the series, I just didn't want them to get swept

I do feel bad for you guys a little bit - that like Colorado Avs... Saw that you didn't make the finals. Felt like almost a lock that you would going into the playoffs. And I don't like the Avs at all.

But don't worry we have a chair for you. Come have a seat with the rest of us. The Finals are on without us.

Another crazy game in this series.

As much as I hate to admit it, this Canes-Knights finals matchup has been very entertaining.
