Niles hopes to play in CCG?

An earlier thread asked if he'd be ready for a bowl game. If he could "go" in the CCG that would be awesome, but everyone's going to speculate how healthy is he, at what percent, and all of that. I say if the young man feels he can play and contribute, LET HIM!

Maybe he's "gettin the fever" of N.U. vs O.U..!!!!

Considering he was in boot and a crutch for the last game... I would highly doubt he would be full go for CCG. If he does he might be more hinderance than a help. JMO

And so the speculation (as mentioned) begins....
If he's still in a boot and crutch he's probably not going to play. But if by any chance he's healthy and can play that's a coaching decision. No one but the training staff and coaches (as well as Niles) knows for sure the extent of the injury. Maybe a game time decision. If he's at all still injured, I say sit him until the bowl game.

I don't see how he'll be ready to play. Did you see him with his crutch hobbling around the sideline friday? Some posters here have very unrealistic views on injuries.

This is even debatable when he is 100%.

Depending upon the injury, it may be a case where it is about pain tolerance. If he feels he can play, and wants to be out there and can't do permanent damage, I say let him play. It seems improbable, but who knows.

It is too bad both teams cant be full strength. I still thing our D will keep us in the game and with a break or two we win a close one.
