Huskers-New Mexico State set for 6 p.m.

Nebraska's Sept. 13 contest against New Mexico State will kick off at 6 p.m. Like the first two games, it will be televised on a pay-per-view basis.

New Mexico State will be opening its 2008 season in Lincoln. The Aggies were set to play this Thursday against Nicholls State, but Hurricane Gustav caused the game to be postponed.

Still no word on kickoff time for the Sept. 27 game against Virginia Tech. Game time for that one will likely be announced six to 12 days in advance. That game is certain to be on television.

All I need to do now is hold off my large consumption of alcohol until at least after lunch on gameday. Last week I could tell I was rusty. I was struggling come the 4th quarter. I need a few weeks to get in top football & beer drinking shape. :box
