Got a lot more interesting this past weekend.

And now it's on the six-day pick for kickoff time (as opposed to the usual 13).
 
Northwestern is 3-1 in conference, tied for 2nd place with UCLA, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, Michigan and USC.

They are one win better than us in conference.

Northwestern beat UCLA, PSU, Purdue. Combined conference record 3-9. The UCLA game was before they fired their coach.

Nebraska beat MSU and Maryland. Combined conference record 1-7

Not much difference.
 
At home, pi$$ed and shamed (worse than embarrassment) I home they come out and road stop them.

I also hope at some point (maybe already has) is Rhule let's the team know the real deal w/PSU job opportunity. Get that elephant out of the room so they can concentrate.

I think you post this every year, and I am pretty sure I respond because I am your anti-hero I think. I go to a game every year also, occasionally two, and the Cincinnati game was my first victory attended since Miami 2014.

I think what is lost is that PSU's wanting Rhule is completely media-driven. Rhule to PSU does not pass the eye test by any logically minded people at PSU or NU. The media uses Nebraska because we are easily driven to clickbait sites. We might be worse than 14-year-old boys drawn to porn sites

I haven’t heard or read that yet. I know Trae had alluded to that, but that’s all. I don’t see PSU taking him tbh, but I never thought we’d hire Mr Rogers (Riley) either.

I'm actually hearing that boosters at PSU are pushing for Joe Brady (OC for the Bills) to be the next coach.

I seriously don't think Matt is going to PSU.
 
I think PSU offering Rhule would only happen if they get turned down from several other candidates. Rhule would be a tough sell to a fanbase yearning to "win the big one." He would have an almost zero grace period at PSU.

I hope Rhule stays here and continues what he's building.

I don't know if it is boosters or one booster. The Bills owner is said to have covered the buyout on Franklin and may be pushing for Brady to be the next guy.

Of course, if he's writing checks like that he probably has some decent pull.

I heard that it's at least one more booster pushing for this other than the owner.
