Northwestern. What happens?

We all want to move on from this one as fast as possible.

With that in mind....

Northwestern comes in hurting as bad or worse than us... which team figures out their issues well enough to win?

From the sounds of it, the players aren't going to dwell on this too much and will move on quickly. Agree?

Taylor played injured. Will he do it again next week? Will he take himself out of the game? Will the coaches? Was it the coaches who took him out in past weeks or was it Taylor saying he couldn't go and the coaches putting pressure on him that the team "needed him" for the home stretch?

And, finally, how laughable was for Taylor to say we "have everything in front of us?" Bo said as much last year after Ohio State and the team backed his play, but this seems even more improbable.

What does Bo mean by soul searching?

Surprisingly we'll probably come out, smoke them and then look crazy the next game and all over the place. This team is bipolar and has forgotten to take its meds.......time for some sort of court ordered intervention!

All they have to do is keep running jet sweeps on us and then fake it play action pass to a fat slow tight end, And then have a QB with turf toe and three broken toes two bad ankles and a poor arm be our QB and NW wins

They're pretty awful, so they have a reasonably decent chance at beating us by double digits.

I hope that we can go back to the RK3/TA system we had going and cross our fingers that we can grind out enough drives to keep the pressure on the other team, and protect our own young defense. And also hope that Northwestern doesn't realize they can Kain Colter all over us.

I guess that's what puzzled me about today's win. Here we had a team (Huskers) that had been playing as a team-the 2 quarterback system had been playing with the same kids for the past 4 weeks. The coaches then put in a cold Taylor (who was still injured in my opinion) and can't run so Minnesota loads up the box and makes him pass which he doesn't do as well as Tommie and Ron do. I don't get that. Why didn't Bo pull Taylor and go to his back ups before things got ugly? I know, I know, Taylor didn't cause the receivers to drop the passes but I just wonder (along with many on the board) if the outcome would've been different had the Husker team that had been playing together for the past 4 weeks (sans Spencer Long) been allowed to play.

If NW is smart, they will do exactly what Minnesota did. I'm hoping that we will be able to beat them but not if we play like we did today.

(I had a bad feeling about the Minnesota game from the beginning. I even said that we couldn't afford to discount them and I think that's exactly what the coaches did. It was like they felt like they could just waltz in and beat the crap outta Minnesota so they maybe didn't prepare with the urgency they might've prepared had the team been Michigan or Michigan State.)
