Northwestern's grass field is in terrible shape

I played on sand lot ball fields as a kid with better grass...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Feel like bad fields increase the chance of injuries, and Ryan Field's condition will definitely effect the game for both teams.

Are you sure Northwestern is getting a new football stadium? I know they are building new football training facilities on campus, but I hadn't heard anything regarding a whole new stadium.

I am not sure. I thought I heard they were getting a new stadium, but I could be wrong. Not finding anything about a new stadium on google...

Everything I look at is a new facility for football practice and other sports, along with a makeover for the basketball arena.

They're trying to slow down our speed. That field is dangerous, they should be fined by the B1G.

What are the rules of when the opposing team can basically refuse to play?

This is far from the worse but could be a strategy by a team if they wanted to slow a team down.

As long as the officials deem it ok for the game to be played, the opposing team can't do much about it.
