NCAA Football 08 Season Simulation

Every year, EA SPORTS simulates the upcoming college football season using the latest iteration of NCAA Football. Last season, NCAA Football 07 correctly predicted the Florida Gators as champions. Could NCAA Football 08 repeat 07's prediction success?

This year NCAA Football 08 has USC winning the BCS Championship game 28-23 against Oklahoma. The Trojans wrapped up their NCAA Football 08 season with a 13-0 record, the only team in college football to go undefeated. Other notable Bowl games included a decisive 38-22 Louisville win over Tennessee in the Sugar Bowl, a 35 -23 Virginia Tech victory over West Virginia in the Fed Ex Orange Bowl, and 42-17 blowout by Florida over Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

A number of players had big years in this season?s simulation. Arkansas HB #5 racked up 2,272 rushing yards and 20 TDs, earning him Heisman Trophy and Maxwell Award honors. Hawaii QB #15 was a runner up for the Heisman and passed for 4,716 yards, winning him the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. His strong performance propelled Hawaii to an impressive 12-1 record, placing them 11th in the final Top 25 Media Poll.

Rivalry games provided some interesting results as well. Florida defeated Florida State 24-17, while Michigan narrowly edged out Ohio State in a 42-39 battle. Army came out on top of Navy 30-27 in their classic match up, and Alabama put a hurting on Auburn 42-20 in the Iron Bowl.

Just for reference, they had NU finishing 12-2, DOMINATING the Fiesta Bowl over Hawaii, and finishing the season ranked 5th overall. EA predicted last year's national championship game and the champion correctly. Please let them be right again this year...

I wonder who they had us losing too??? Obviously we don't win the Big XII then because Oklahoma was in the BCS Championship game. I don't think I could take two years of losing to them!!! However; at the same time they have us playing in the Fiesta Bowl??? I could do 12-2 with a Top 5 finish!!!! :bonez

^ Hell yea. That would be beautiful. Honestly...I'd much rather play OU in the Big XII championship than Texas. That's just being honest.

I'd take a Fiesta Bowl victory!!!! :bonez

Also I can't see Alabama scoring 42 on Auburn unless Auburns run is over

So if USC went 13-0 that is one of our losses and since we went 12-2 and OU played in the title game this means we went undefeated in big 12 play and lost to OU in the CCG. I'll take that.

If it's in the Game then it's in the Game. <_<

Look's like we are going to the Fiesta Bowl. Bring on June Jones and Jerry Glanville. :woo

Unless the winner of the Big XII is going to play in the national championship, then the loser of the championship game would go to the Fiesta Bowl.
