Not too high, not too low.

I am I

All-Conference
I'm glad we won big. Got a good test today, no doubt. Lots of new facets to offense, defense showed a bend but not break--giving up only 13 points.

Most of all, I personally feel like there wasn't any big mood swings. I felt like, psychologically the tv cameras weren't hunting Bo on the sidelines for nasty expressions and blowups. When momentum swung here and there we just seemed to stay on the attack and get ourselves lined up ready to play.

Obviously no big penalties and turnovers helped that, but we seemed very organized and ready to go as far as substitutions and personnel.

I feel for myself, I'm happy with the win.. Very encouraged by the explosive offense and I'm actually pretty happy with the D. I'm not mercurial with the win and I'm not in the pits with some of the areas lacking. Obviously our O won't be so good every week and our D will shore up some of their faults.

I'm even steven. Which is a different feeling ivehad after wins and loses last few yrs.

Anyone just feeling pretty good? Not too high or low?

I'm pretty high right now. A lot of top 25 teams looked like us vs. Wyoming or Fresno State last year. And honestly of Soutb Carolina/Michigan are supposed to be top 10 teams I really like our chances cracking the top 10 this year.

Alabama is the only team that really stood out to me as being a legitimate title contender. The rest? Up in the air.

I'm probably most happy with our defense. We seemed to solve things at halftime and tighten up the run coverage in the second half. It seemed to be the opposite last year, where we would get out to an early lead and then seem to be clinging on to it in the second half as the opposing team's offense figured out and wore our defense down. Martinez had a great game...his throwing mechanics are better and he is much more confident in the pocket. However, I'm gonna play the devil's advocate and say this...we won't really know about Taylor until the Badgers come to Lincoln. That being said, I hope Rex is going to be ok...any knee injury is worry-some but I'm pretty happy with Game 1. Can't wait to go to the game out here in L.A. next week! GBR!

I agree - VERY pleased with how we played overall yesterday. However, it was one game against a team that had a bunch of changes since last year and couldn't decide on a QB. Unfortunately there will be reasons to temper hope until we get into the B1G schedule but if we string a couple more games like that one together, we'll be sitting pretty.

We looked really good on offense and I was impressed how they spread the ball around. They will have to account for everyone in our offense not just Taylor and Rex this year. The demeanor was better, they didn't lose focus after the kick return and touchdown like the team would have last year. We did a lot less shooting ourselves in the foot stuff with mental mistakes. Overall I was pretty happy with everything, I was just looking for a little more out of the D but they always seem to improve throughout the year with Bo. I am so glad we didn't start the year against Alabama, they looked like our early 90's defenses, I was so hoping Michigan would beat them just to shut up the superior SEC talk.
