Thats just sad and heart wrenching to read. Whats really spooky is what this one chick wrote:

I'm assuming your on the lift right now and you're life is flashing before your eyes...you're remembering all the beautiful times we had together and a small tear comes to your eye...you realize you'll never see me again!

but you may live...
She must feel like sh*t right now because he twitted that he was terrified of the wind and then an hour later she posted this either the same time he died or shortly before he died not knowing he actually passed away.

This is an extremely sad story and looks like a good looking gal was really excited to see him this coming up weekend.

I didn't film practice when I was N, but the guys that do are under a lot of pressure to not miss anything in practice.

I would like to say I would have the balls to refuse to go up the tower under those winds, but fact is you don't want to do anything to piss off the coaches.

This is just terrible. His tweet before he died is just chilling.

That is really terrible... not sure how to feel.
i know. at first you are mortified at such a horrible tragedy. but then you start to get angry that he would even be up there. they should have known better. notre dame was criminally negligent.

also, those tweets are eerie. one was of someone excited to see him this weekend, how tragic.

When I was at Clemson, they wouldn't allow people to go up in the towers over halfway when there was semi-bad wind, and not at all if the wind was really bad, no matter what the coaches thought of it.

Notre Dame and the coaches/video staff is where to place the blame here...

instead of using a scissor lift, why do they not build a proper structural-tower? is it because they have to move the lift around, or what?

This story is so sad! The fact that he tweeted those things just goes to show you that life can end just like that. Live everyday to the fullest. I need to take my own advice. What really gets my blood boiling is some of the comments on that link. Do people not have hearts these days or what? Makes me pretty sick! The one thing I can say is he is in a better place and God is taking care of him.

RIP

What the heck were the coaches/video staff thinking, sending that guy up there in 50 - 60 mph winds? They deserve to be sued. And they will be.
