The 27-1 (overall) 19-1 (Big 12) Husker Volleyball Team heads into the NCAA Tourney as the #1 overall seed for the third straight year.
The Huskers will get to stay at home for the first two round of the NCAA Tourney playing at the friendly confines of the NU Coliseum.
Nebraska will host American University Friday Dec. 1 at 7pm (or 30 minutes following the first match).
The other half of the Lincoln Bracket and first match of the evening is on Friday at 5pm when Northern Iowa hosts Winthrop.
The winners of the first round match will move onto Saturday's 2nd Round of the NCAA Tourney (also at the NU Coliseum) and play at 5pm on Dec. 2.
The winner of that 2nd Round Match up Travels to Gainesville, Florida, for the NCAA Regionals.
The Big Red would not only have to win its 1st and 2nd Round matches at home at the NU Coliseum (Dec. 1-2), but win the NCAA Regional in Gainesville, Florida (Dec. 8-9), to reach the Qwest Center for the chance to play for a National Championship.
